Henry (Hank) founded Quicksilver Messenger Service in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 1, 1979 after 10 years in the hospitality industry. Hank soon developed a reputation as an innovator in addition to an unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service and extraordinary value. He originated bicycle messenger service in Cleveland as well as computerized order-entry and dispatch. Later, he spearheaded the merger that would become 1st American Courier and continues to seek out unique solutions to his customers’ thorniest delivery problems. He is a founding member of both the Consolidated Delivery and Logistics Association and The Ohio Same Day Transportation Association.
Vice President
Brian has spent more than 38 years in the delivery industry in customer service and operations - designing, developing and implementing high quality and personalized services across numerous customer organizations, and integrated customer specific tailored programs to our many health care providers.
Brian has leveraged his extensive operations and customer service experience to provide an industry-leading range of high-quality, integrated delivery solutions to 1st American Courier customers.
In step with the Company’s corporate philosophy, Brian ensures the highest level of service quality and caring, a theme that permeates all aspects of 1st American Courier, and is fundamental to 1st American’s continuing success. Based on his deep expertise in customer service and operations, Brian provides leadership and vision for an enduring, innovative company with an impressive and fast-growing list of corporate customers.
Director of Administration
Lindsay has been an intricate part of the 1st American Team for over 13 years. Her primary focus is in providing excellent service and directing our drivers to strive for excellence. She is heavily involved in new products and the managing of our largest accounts. Her take on customer service is an integral part of 1st American Courier’s customer value proposition. All feedback allows us to gather any necessary changes to improve and ensure that our quality and service exceed any and all customer expectations.
Working alongside Operations, Human Resources, and the Accounting department, she acts as a liaison between customers and 1st American Courier, making sure that the lines of communication remain open. Lindsay is a team and office leader, striving to build trust and maintain strong long-term relationships with 1st American’s customers, employees, and drivers.
Director of Operations
Nikki has been with 1st American Courier for 19 years, starting when she was just 17 as a Customer Service Representative, working her way into her current position as Director of Operations. In the 18 years she has been working with 1st American, Nikki continues to provide our customers with exceptional service.
Interim Controller, MBA
Nelly Sigmund joined the finance team at 1st American Courier in 2018. Nelly comes to 1st American Courier with this philosophy: “When we run better – by identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, processes and technology improvements – we maximize our capabilities and help minimize expenses. These savings can then be passed on to our customers with lower costs and high-valued service.”
Nelly brings to 1st American vast experience from her years in the accounting field including auditing, general accounting, payroll, and expertise in a variety of software and accounting/finance systems.
